Received an email from Suncoast that they have a sale on re manufactured engines through Nov. 29th. They did not give pricing but said that Porsche was waiving the core deposit. Apparently only some engines are available. Just thought I would post it here in case someone is looking for one.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You never know...maybe I should pick up a couple of spares.
With all the 'potential' issues with our motors.....nice to have a backup.
Are they just getting back to you from when you needed one?
No it was just a mass email that they did with season specials and one of them was for engines.
Would be a good start for and engine to upgrade. Either swap out to have a new engine in the dai;y driver while upgrading the used engine or just upgrade remanufactured engine. The second option would void any warrenty but you'ld have newer enternals to depend on if souping the engine up. I'd like to hear a price when one is available.
