Hello all. Im looking for an OEM indoor car cover for my 2004 996 C4S. Looking online, I haven't seen one for the C4S. What i seen is 996, and turbo. The turbo will have the same "big ***" but will have the spoiler. Is tte OEM 996 cover the same for narrow body and wide body? If not, is there a specific OEM part number for the C4S?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Are you talking about this cover? Yeah your C4S will fit in the same cover as a C2. You definitely don't want the Turbo cover if you don't have any C4S aero otherwise you'll just have a huge empty pouch of nylon hanging at the back. These car covers are not like OJ's glove - there is tons and tons of give to them. They will stretch easily over 20". Maybe more than that.
Unfortunately, Porsche does not provide with a proper option for the C4S The Turbo cover, will have the cover in the back for the rear wing and will look weird The C2 cover, despite of being listed at Porsche webpage as valid for C4 and C4S, is actually too tight for the C4S. I know it because I have it. I use it, but definitely looks too small in the car and it is impossible to get it to cover completely the front and rear bumper at the same time.
Just grab a unit from cover craft. They're nice and soft and stretchy.

Paris, this is what I was worried about :P After I sort the M96, I'm going to be adding a wing (maybe the GT2), and either the Percision Porsche GT2 front cover, or the Techart. So i guess i should just look for a used OEM 996 one here on rennlist in the time being. Dr S, I'll probably do that once the car has its "pretty stuff" bolted on. Thanks
Just order the one for a 996 turbo it’ll flit np
I put a WTB add in the classifieds. Maybe some one has a dust cover..... collecting dust on a shelf. lol

Not 100% true. I recently purchased a turbo cover for my C4S through Suncoast. Item: SGP996. No bulge in the back. Fits super snug.
