Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Blackstone Labs doesn't seem to be responding to a sample I sent in for analysis. Along with a $30 check. Any experience on here? Is there an alternative? Thanks Rick

POST 2Original post

Alternative to Blackstone is https://www.speediagnostix.com/

How long has it been? It typically takes 2-3 weeks. Also check you spam account (they email you the report).

POST 5Original post

2-3 weeks for BS maybe a little more this time of year Never had an issue. Use them a dozen times now. Lost in the mail?

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks all. They've only had the sample for 10 days. This ismy first experience with them so I had an unrealistic expectation I guess. Thanks again. Rick

I send a sample in every year with my oil change, and it would typically take about 10 days from the time I mailed it from GA to getting the report. This year was different though, I assume because of the same reason that there are staff shortages and challenges everywhere else. Three weeks in and I was just about to call them to see what was going on when the report suddenly came, so be patient as it seems to be taking a bit longer now.

POST 8Original post

Yeah give it some time. Even with the standard service from SD it takes about 2 weeks to get the report back.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Kudos for Blackstone though. I send them emails and they answer back the next day. Very responsive.
