Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

HI - i am reverting my fixed wing back to the stock spoiler and did not take pix originally when i removed the spades from the terminals on the solenoid. there is 1 black and 1 red wire as seen in the pix. there are no distinguishing markings on the solenoid terminals to know which one goes where. anyone recently been in there to provide some guidance? also in the picture, the solenoid is rotated 180 degrees from normal to show connections. thank you in advance.

POST 2Original post

There's a wide and a narrow plug. They only fit one way.

Mine are actually both exactly the same. both terminals are 1/4".

POST 4Original post

Just plug them in but it looks like the black goes on the first one if you get it wrong the motor will just work in reverse your not going to short anything out!

POST 5Original post

But please tell me how you were able to disable the retract without a warning light on the dash?
