Thanks for all the input.... Yesterday I ordered a 2002 C2 with the options I wanted; 18" wheels, PSM, Mats and Technic Package. The price difference versus buying the new 2001 at dealer invoice, which had a lot of soft options, versus a 2002 with "my needed" options was less than $2,500 more. Now I have to wait until March or April.... a small price to pay....
Congratulations on your choice. I think deciding on the 02 with less "soft options" will pay off for you in the long run because there is somuch difference between the 01 and the 02. Don Watson
Don Thank you and I truly appreciated your input on my earlier posting....I shipped the my new Boxster S about ten days ago to the new owner.... He is happy and the new owner of my 964 C2 is happy..... a lot of empty garage space for the next few months. Happy New Year Berkley
