Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Why would you do that?
@elwoodcg cause it has PPi done already and the only thing missing is the overrevs.
durametric enthusiast verson is well worth the price if you're gonna own one of these, or own a couple.
I agree with Pulpo - if anyone is planning to buy a 996 it is not an overkill solution to get Durametric even before buying the car. In general as PPIs can be anything from excellent to horrible having a proper diagnostic tool could be a good investment. And "while you are in there" check the whole DME readout - not just ODB codes or overrevs. That actual data is similar to taking a blood test and a heart signal from a human. It can reveal many internal things that are not obvious to external examination. Any variations from normal should be analyzed and as a buyer that helps to evaluate the price as any variation most likely costs something to fix and it gives a better understanding of the engine's "performance". ps. Small world as I have spend a few weeks in Salem OR some years back...
I think the OP is asking if there is anyone in Salem who can do this because they do not live in Oregon, not because they do not have a durametric.
@Kris Murphy correct... i have my own pro durametric but I am in the bay area and dont want to fly up just to find that the car has been tracked every other weekend
