Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Deets on the sale and new car? Pics or it never happened!

I sold the 996 for 15k a steal if you ask me. The sc is a 1980 Targa in a rare arrow blue color. Sorry for the bad quality pics.
Looks it was foggy that day
That arrow blue looks amazing! Reminds me of the Aston James May brought on one of his US roadtrips.
Cool color! H4 headlamp upgrade? Late '90's CA plates?

Yes to all of them besides the ca plates they've always been like that I believe but recently they added their dmv website to the plates lol
Thanks for sharing! Nice purchase.
Congrats on the purchase. My '03 996 C4 Cab (now owned for about 8 months) is my first water cooled. Previous owned were '68 Coupe, '72 911 Coupe, '87 Targa, '89 Cab and '95 Cab (tiptronic). I liked all my air-cooled cars, but the 996 is a more satisfying daily driver (although I don't use it as a daily driver).
How many miles on your SC and what year is it?
I swung by 911661's house this morning on my way to work and snapped a couple of more pics of the 911SC for you guys :
Excellent pOtatophone camera work. Interested to hear your impressions of moving from a 996 back in time to an SC...
I agree, it sure is a beauty in person!
Apparently OP decided to go back to an 80's vintage digital camera to celebrate the new car. You can fit like 20 whole pictures on a single 3.5" floppy!!!
Ok you guys have me LOLing right now! Seriously those are the worst pictures I've ever seen taken of a car before! Hahaha! For the OP, please send us some better photos as those looked like you spread peanut butter on your lens.
OP's camera... 5xMfR.jpg
You guys are too Much lol it is a 1980 with 201,000 miles. I'll make sure to get some better pictures for you guys.

I was looking for something a little more raw to drive on the weekends. The 996 was great but it just didn't have as much sense of occasion
Easier to re-acquire a 996 later if you so choose, than to secure an air cooled 911 later. Logical choice. Enjoy your air cooled ride.
