Finding a good one in your desired colors could be a hard task. My only source of this opinion is having been looking for a 99 Boxster top I�ve been looking for �hardtops� etc, without discrimination as to which car, and I rarely see either a 996 or 986 tops. I found a wrecked one from a Boxster and for 1500 it�s back to stock. GLWS
As an additional aside the few people that had Boxster tops in the 2.5-4k range were either to reluctant to ship or it was 2k to ship.

Those are insane prices. Boxter hard tops should be no more than $1,500 in decent condition. I just gave one away to a friend a few months ago.
