Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've never seen this before... Somehow it doesn't really work for me. http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/9...tallation.html

POST 2Original post

That my friend is Porsche's equivalent to Flares.

POST 3Original post

that 996 owner is about 50 years too late - 356 and early 911 are the only porsches that look good with some badges on the grill

POST 4Original post

I agree. I went as far as to actually get both PCA and local PCNW badges and didn't put them on. I don't think they look good on newer cars, they're too big and I'm worried about damaging the spoiler by mounting them.

POST 6Original post

Cars that should have ceramic badges stuck to them had all been made by the 70's. Blocking your intake with the equivalent of a $50 bumper sticker is dorky. For some reason those have always reminded me of AA tokens. Me: "My name is Schnell, and I have a need for public recognition and approval by other car enthusiasts." Them: "Hi, Schnell!" Hurdi: "F you, you ****!"

POST 7Original post

I find this acceptable for high mileage badges on a 300D or the like. That's about it.

POST 8Original post

Right up there with the PhD in Linguistics, who insists upon being called 'Doctor'. As she hands you your half-caf mocha latte at Starbucks...

That's *Doctor* Barista to you!

POST 10Original post

If I still had my Volvo 240 and it hit a million miles, it would get a badge. Otherwise, nope.

POST 11Original post

Another thumbs down vote from me. Makes the car look like this:

POST 12Original post

Yeah, no on the badges. If badges/crests makes you happy, go for it, but we will say rude things about you behind your back. Just sayin

POST 13Original post

Quit stalking me in my car, Cuda. Admit it: You covet my Sunoco sticker. Don't lie; it's clear by the tone of your post. You envy my ride.

...to each his own.

POST 16Original post

I think just one might work. Specially if your going for that retro look. I really have zero problem with anyones mods. Make the world just a tad bit more interesting IMO.

All of my mods...even the red ' S ', are reversible.
