Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Can't be sure without troubleshooting but it does sound like a bad bank1 pre-cat O2 sensor. You can get a OEM Bosch from Amazon Amazon.com: Bosch 16433 Oxygen Sensor, OE Type Fitment: Automotive Amazon.com: Bosch 16433 Oxygen Sensor, OE Type Fitment: Automotive To do troubleshooting, you need at least a generic OBDII scanner that can read O2 sensor voltage in real-time. To replace the sensor, you will need a special O2 sensor socket (prolly can be rented from auto parts store) and a good ratchet/breaker bar for leverage. http://www.harborfreight.com/3-8-eig...nch-97177.html
Note that if you wind up breaking the old oxygen sensor and you have to grind part of it out, do NOT do this near your oil drain pan...it can add a dimension of stress to an oil change that doesn't really need to be there.
