I joined this group recently, and it is a big group, and was just wondering if anyone here has actually bought anything and received it and can verify that it is legit ..So many scams nowadays...Seems that most posts are from Admins who just want you message you through PM,s .. Lots of parts listed with interesting prices... I asked a question about a set of 19" Original Fuchs wheels for narrow body cars that were listed for $800 , got a quick message in PM's but when I asked for the details on the offsets..crickets.. Just wondering if this is a Phishing site group, or a scam, or is it legit...anybody else in this group??

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Most of the time the scammers will grab marketplace ads from other groups and post. Theyll look legit but be a scam. Cross reference the marketplace ad if you can.

I searched Marketplace and didn't see any Fuchs 19" Classic for sale.....and the Admin/poster said they were all 4 19x8 and would definitely fit narrow body and wide body 996 997..lol I think the whole page/admins/moderators is a scam/phishers, and the group members are victims?
Follow your gut! Unfortunately, its the world we live in. Im a member of some 996 groups and I too have seen some intriguing ads, yet I refrain. Im a typical NY skeptic anyway - proceed with caution.

Yea, I am following my gut, I'm just playing with them now... The poster/Admin/moderator pm'd me again wanting to know how many sets I want !!!! lol . Said he had 4 sets of these !! ( these have sold on BAT for $5k-$6k and he posted for $800...lol) After I told him they would not fit my car as I had 19x8.5 front and 19x11 rear , ....and then he said that whats these are !! lol...( but still would not tell me the offset on them) Then he said, well there are 3 other people wanting these wheels,I said well, you have enough sets for all of us....then he says Mr Fred wants 3 sets so if I want one I need to hurry ..lol I told him that I think Mr Fred doesn't know what he is buying, and he may be selling them after he finds out they don't fit his car, and that I would not be buying until I know what the offset is.. I requested his cell number to call him after Christmas to get the details......crickets again.......lol There are 10k members to this FB page and all the Admins and Moderators Profiles look sketchy to me....Please be careful and Merry Christmas !!!
