Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

21 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 1 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

^^^^ Not a slant nose! But it also could get a nose job. And sport seat.

POST 9Original post

If the finished product looks like the renders it should look pretty good. If my car met an untimely demise I would probably consider the Old&New kit for it, which is pretty similar. http://www.speedhunters.com/2017/05/...s-the-new-new/

POST 10Original post

Like it, but the rear makes it look like a ricer tuner car!

I see it has the Euro rear bumper. It may start a global trend.

POST 13Original post

I like it. Got rid of those ghastly headlights

POST 14Original post

The only problem with the Old vs New kit is it will run you close to $20K just in parts, no labor and a lot of it actually has to get modified to fit correctly.

POST 15Original post

I actually think the front end looks sharp, the back is too busy for my liking. That being said and I've said this before the slant nose has always been an odd one for me, it seems like people love it even though it's quite a departure from how a 911 usually looks. It reminds me of the Concord that could move its front nose up and down.

If one wants a car that looks like a cheap JDM tuner, then why not just buy a cheap JDM tuner car? Next step is the full Bosozoku 6ft exhaust pipe. Don't mean to kink shame. And I'm not a purist, there's lots if 996s out there, so you do you!

POST 17Original post

I hear you. A lot of sloppy loose skin hanging on the car. However, it's good to see that folks are using the 996 for "re-imagined" ideas. I am interested to see if the diffuser actually works or if it's just eye candy. I think the factory 935 they released a few years back was very cool. But yes, there is a point that you hit a certain age that you don't want to drive around a boy car,

but...those headlights won le Mans!

These headlights did not win LeMans but I think GC996 might like this attempt at re-imagining the 996 into something cool and IMHO pretty well executed

It would be great during the Chicago winters!
