Had the pleasure of driving this route yesterday in 55 degree weather and the perfect landscape. While going through one of the villages I looked down and saw 50K on my '99 C2 cab. To celebrate did Route 500 from Kniebis to Baden-Baden and topped it off on the way back to Stuttgart with 130 mph on the autobahn! Truly blessed to live here in Germany!!!

I'm gonna take a wild guess - Patch Barracks? I made 6 trips to Kelly Barracks for conferences back in 2003-2004. Each trip included at least one visit each to Zuffenhausen and Unterturkheim. Have not been back since. Stuttgart is a wonderful city to visit for any car guy. Would love to get back someday very soon - maybe even this summer may sneak up there on our annual family visit to Madrid. Is the Schwaben Quellen spa still open in Mohringen?
We lived in Heidelberg and Ramstein for 3 years back in the early 90s. My wife was a first Sgnt (tops) in the Army Vet Co. She served 21 years. Wish I had had my 911 those days for the AutoBahn. I have a 99 C2 Cab with 76000 on it. Yours is great mileage for the year.
