Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We had decent weather yesterday, so I took advantage of the opportunity to wash and put the car away for winter. It's a sad day, but I got all 3 in a 2 car garage.

POST 2Original post

I'm holding out for the first bad winter weather and application of melting agents. That's when I pull the plug for the winter. Otherwise I'm driving it. Where about are you located? Please don't say Florida

POST 3Original post

Aaaah Ohio my bad. Spent 18 months on a project in Beechwood and commuted through the snow belt. Enjoyed the state and variety of great places to eat, had no idea it is a foody paradise!

POST 4Original post

I drive my baby till it snows in Chicago... when that happens they salt the roads for the rest of the winter season... Bed Time for my baby at that point!

You do what I do.....put one sideways against the back wall. Except it's my Alfa Spider that's sideways. All of mine are put away now for the winter.....that's why it's going to be very nice weather this week in the Cleveland area. LOL.

POST 6Original post

I gripe about the cost of living out here in SoCal about 6 months of the year...then I see all of the car storage and snow tire threads and count my blessings for the other 6 months....

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I had to take advantage of the nice weather to clean it up and put it away. I would love to keep driving it, but with my luck it would get nasty and I would put away a dirty car. I'm born and raised in Ohio, and as I get older I hate the winter more each year. I'm ready for spring!!!! 5chnell, I could love Komifornia if it weren't for all the nutty people. David, I love your garage, looks like you have some great cars. Wickedgood, if you're ever in NE Ohio again, drop me a line, my nephew owns one of the best steakhouses in the state.

My wife loves me an feels a need to have the vanity plate. Me, I hate the damn thing and think it's stupid. Happy wife, happy life.

POST 12Original post

Going to drive mine all winter for the first time this year. Was thinking about getting a beater, but opted to invest in snow tires instead. Should be fun as long as the snow isn't too deep.

Our kids just call it the "ICK"

POST 18Original post

I will take you up on that offer. I dined at the Hyde Park chain many nights and enjoyed Michael Symon's restaurants while there.

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You hit some great restaurants while here! I'm biased, but I think Lucia's is better than Hyde Park. Plus their valet is a car guy that lets me park the 996 in the preferred spot up front. He then keeps a comfortable amount of space to the next car. They also pour a good drink.
