Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have a friend who did that and is now suffering from 911 withdrawl. Have you considered a pre-owned MY00 or MY01 996 Cab? About the same price as a new Boxster S...
I LOVE my '99 C4 coupe so, personally, couldn't imagine the trade (the look, the feel, the power and the versatility of a 2+2 and the potential for winter driving to boot). However, if you currently have a coupe and are looking for a roadster/convertible experience and don't care about the rear 2 seats, the boxter "S" is a great car. I've driven it and the performance characteristics are similar to the carerra (not quite the horsepower, but the torque is strong in a broad range). The gages are cool too.
I would rule out that trade simply because it doesn't have the oomph of a 911 and if you are a golfer you could take 2 bags and a friend with ya while in the boxster your friend be tied to the front of the hood. But practicallt speaking its got more space and the performance factor is there for the 911. I do like the guages in the boxster s but having only 3 vs 5 guages it looks even more plain. I wished they carry over the aluminum framed gauges to the 911. Unless someday which maybe realized if porsche plans to beef up the boxster s to the 3.4l then that is a difficult decision. hope that helps ya.
Thanks for the input. I think I'll just stick with my C4. I was having one of those "end of summer" moments when I wished I had a convertible.
