Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have a 2/98 996 with no 408 option code on the sticker. However the rear wheels have the following part numbers: (two part numbers on each wheel) 993.362.138.00 "B" and 993.362.140.01 "A". The fronts have 993.362.134.05.(Just one part number). I'd like to understand this if someone could explain. Thanks, ...

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I figured this out. On the inside of the wheel there is a box for A and a box for B. The A box is checked so I have the 8 x 10 hollow spokes in the rear. 7.5 x 10 in the front.
