Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It seems no one has a set of injectors I’m looking for stock not aftermarket I want part number 996-606-120-01 ONLY so if you know a reasonable vendor or I can wait the 4 weeks from Gaudin or sunset $450 range both stated long shipping the 2 local dealers one being Europa wanted 675??? Tried to give me some line he’s only 10% over dealer pricing sol lmk Mike

POST 2Original post

I got mine for my 99 from Gaudin about a month ago. They had the best price even with shipping and I had them in a week. Sounds like the warehouses are waiting to get them from Germany now. Joey

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah that’s right they have a 4-6 Week backlog but my car is in NJ on a lift at Paul’s garage that’s what sucks

POST 4Original post

Why not just go with the newer/updated injectors? Its a simple mod to make them fit the early fuel rails and theyll work perfectly well with the 3.4... (theyre also a LOT cheaper)

Those are really not available, except from LN at more than double the price of others.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The LNE ones aren’t for my 99 2001 and up

What dporto was saying is that the 2001+ can be modified to work in the 99-00. When you can get them their around $35-$40 each.

Yikes - no kidding! I bought my OEM ones in April for $234 for all 6! First the IMS Retrofit goes from $680 to $900 and now injectors double in cost. I guess it's not just the cost of the 996 that's on the rise!
