Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is there a chip flash that will result in a shift point in "A" on the Tip for something in the 2500 to 3000 neighborhood? If it weren't for that, I'd give the Tip 5 out of 5 stars. I was up in the N. Ga. mountains today and I kept it in "M" shifting between 2 and 3 (and occasional 1) and was having an absolute blast. I didn't really miss the clutch. And the traffic back and forth between there and the Atlanta suburbs (especially bad for today) made the automatic very nice. I could drive this car all day long in "M" in Tip and be happier than a 6-speed. (10 years of prior ownership of manual 911s.) I just wish I could fix that 1500-1800 rpm shift point in the current "A" mode. It's freakin' useless.
