I ran a smoke test and found a leak at what I believe is the AOS vent connection. It seemed a little loose and I was able to pull it apart easily but I'm sure that's not how its supposed to disengage. I would think the silver/metallic c-clip holds the join together but I'm not sure why the top connector is able to come out easily like that. Is the failure on the AOS line of the connector on the engine side? How is the joint supposed to come apart?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I assume it's not supposed to be able to come apart like that. How is it supposed to come apart?
Its a quick disco. I think u r suppose to push the grey clip out to release it. There were 2 versions of the set up. Pre 2000 is a little different from the newer ones but im not sure of the details. A google search wull get u some details. Part 22 if u need a new one. http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...-05ion=107-10
