A buddy of mine has some aftermarket parts that he added to his 996 awhile ago. When he sold the car he put the stock parts back on, so he has an aftermarket plenum, among other things. Just curious if anyone knows whether this would be a good mod to consider for my 996.2, given that mine has the X51 option on it. I don't know which brand the plenum is, or any other details about it in terms of sizing, etc. Figured I'd see if anyone with a 40th car or X51 optioned car already knows about this before asking him to dig it out of storage. Thanks.

Although IPD shows a different part number as they have revised their part numbering to be more specific now, it should work assuming the physical dimensions are the same and it's from a eGas car as both x51 and regular Carrera have 74mm throttle bodies.
