Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I painted the two front support brackets with POR-15. The car is a c4s. Is there anything around the supports to make it burn. I believe there an 1inch or more from the radiator lines. A couple inches from gas tank 3 inches from differential. Is this an issue? Thanks

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is that the gas tank held up by the two straps to the left and right of the diff?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Okay so the only hot area near the support brackets are the coolant lines so I should be go to go. I drove the car an hour and a half last week and shortly there after, put the car up on a lift and removed the front plastic under panel. I dont remember any sense of warmth so I guess Im good to go. Thanks.

POST 6Original post

The fluid in the hose is only around 200*f. U only need a light glove to hold the hose so therer is no way it will effect por15.

POST 7Original post

Not that it matters, but why did you paint them?
