I removed the seat and when I try to move the seat height higher or lower, it does nothing. The motor engages but, that's it. I pulled the cable out and it looks fine. It seems as if the mechanism that actually moves the seat up and down might be seized, if that's even possible. Looking at the mechanism itself, it looks like there is a ton of work to be done to remove it. Any ideas?
Driver’s side or passenger’s side? I am almost done with a conversion to 997 seat and will have all the motors and related frames, bears etc. left over and may the parts you will need. You can also find a lot pm this on eBay if some thing is broke.
