Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

B&M shifter aftermarket mufflers or PSE suspension mods
My favorite are the B&M Short shifter, V-flow intake and flash. After that an exhaust of some kind and some PSS9s....
what about power intake plenum ?
I did try one of those on both our shop 996TT and shop 996. I forgot who makes them but I personally didn't see any gains on the dynos. It's kinda a lot of work for not very much. The V-flow intake is quick, easy etc.. to install and plus it sounds great too. http://www.sharkwerks.com/products.php?pid=20
What about a supercharger? Seems to me that by the time you've finished adding all the other stuff mentioned you are at least part way there, and haven't seem any really significant gains. It would be interesting to see a "BHP/$" chart for these mods, if anyone has ever done one.
The blower is fun and we've done plenty of them but it's not cheap The list above is some power and some suspension mods together so.... THe BHP/$ thing is a nice idea too
Maybe those giant funbags in your avatar?!
I am sorry, I cant concentrate - whats the question?
Chip, intake, exhaust bypass, cat bypass or high flow, headers, suspension lowering, lightweight battery, LWF with relief gizmo on case, Carbon Fiber hood, as much weight removal as possible by changing seats, removal of spare tire and tool kit, removal of factory exhaust, rear seats if you have them, console delete, and very light weight wheels, PCCB if you can afford, that's my list anyways............... I'm sure it can be added to greatly! Many will say these mods do little others will say the opposite. Nobody can deny weight reduction, it's easy speed. Good luck.
I was wondering how long it was gonna take before somebody said something. Whoa.
trade it in for a Corvette!!
...I was kidding ofcourse Sport exhaust alu rings in dash CF doorsills lowering springs etc
And I would like to know what mods she's done...
EVO SUPERCHARGER
I like her MODS but since they are all cosmetic, do they add much additional weight, thus decrease overall performance?
If you know the girl in the avitar hit the gym five days a week to keep up wth her ? Did you say something about a car ?
PSE hands down - gives the feeling of a real sports car
PSE ? I am new to 996s
Porsche Sport Exhaust. It doesn't add HP, but the sound is oh so delicious . . .
Evo V-flow intakes coupled with B&B exhausts... a beautiful noise.
A carbon fiber gas cap. It's the latest rage and reduces weight by 2 grams or so.
Seriously, you didn't say whether or not you plan to track your car.
Looks like you have it covered. ... on the inside upgrade the tunes..
cosmo I think a 99 to 02 conversion! New headlights, bumper and fenders!!.....
Just did the ROW 030 suspension this weekend. I really am sure this is what Porsche had in mind for this car. The brake dive and acceleration lift is completely gone and damn does it look good.
Cool! tHat's on my list for next year!
PSE and Porsche sports suspension. Anything else is a waste on money!
Oshin..i'll trade you my p-car for the girl in your avatar....seriously...wow. having said that, as other members have probably said, there isn't much you can do to get more power out of the N/A block, short of supercharging so you would probably better to spend money on mods that make the car more enjoyable on the whole. B&M SSK's are great, an exhaust to make the car sound like a real sports car, LWF will make rev matching great and tracking all the more better. Lmk if you need anything, i'll be in baltimore MD this december.....bring the girl in your avatar
These will make you feel your car much better: 1. Suspension 2. GT3 seat 3. Short Shift Kit
Hi, Why does no one ever mention removing the never used back seats? I removed mine. I took ten minutes and removed 22 pounds from the rear of the car. FREE.
I think someone figured that one out maybe 14 years ago, which made all the aforementioned mods obsolete! JK, this is one old thread, predates my 944 By the way, welcome to the forum.
