My interior front seats ('99 Cabriolet) are a bit worn, and I was considering swapping out for some newer 997 seats, but it doesn't seem like Graphite Grey was an interior option (or at least I'm having a VERY hard time finding OEM 997 seats in this color). Questions: 1) Is the 996 Graphite Grey very similar to the Stone Grey for the 997? Seems almost identical here: http://www.globalupholstery.com/porscheleather.html 2) Are cabriolet seats any different from coupe seats? My passenger seat seems to sit higher than the driver seat, and wasn't sure if there was a reason for this.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. My '99 cab has a combination of Space Grey Leather and Graphite Grey interior parts. FYI.
Do they match? Mind sharing some photos? I'm not familiar with space grey. I was thinking 997 seats because I think they look a bit sharper than 996 ones. Not sure if one weighs much less than the other. I also guess I could always redye the seats, but that seems like a pain, especially if I can get ones that nearly match without the work!
Here's an interior shot. My options sticker says "L3AZ BC". As far as I can tell: L3AZ = Exterior ocean blue metallic (water based paint) "BC" = Interior colors B = First letter = leather/leatherette color = Space Grey C = Second letter = (plastic) trim color = Graphite Grey The carpet color is B50 (Space Grey) I'm not sure, but the Graphite Grey might just be the specked horseshoe surround and other trim bits. (Note: I have painted some of the trim pieces in Alumalook, so they are no longer stock.) Here are some other interior codes for reference: 3 – Natural Grey 4 – Natural Brown or Cashmere Beige 6 – Classic Grey 8 – Black A – Black C – Graphite Grey S – Savannah G – Metropole Blue E – Metropole Blue B – Space Grey J – Nephrite Green M – Boxster Red D – Natural Dark Grey T – Natural Brown P – Cinnamon Brown
Your car looks GREAT - love the two tone colors, and I may have to consider the alumalook spots too - cery nice! I'm all the lighter color grey on the inside, but do also have the speckled grey plastic bits. ANYONE have comparisons of Stone Grey to Graphite Grey?
