Hello guys, I'm chasing a rough idle problem with my 1999 996 c4. I've just bought a Foxwell scanner and I'm looking at the engine off stone cold in garage readings. it is fairly cool here in the uk, maybe 6 degrees. The scanner returns: Intake Air temp 14 degrees engine temp 6.8 Engine compartment 7.5 Oil temp 6.8 cat temp 50 Can anyone comment on the plausibility of these readings please? i believe intake = maf, does that self heat? what and where is the cat temp sensor? Thanks in advance.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
