Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A friend who is way deep into air cooled cars was cleaning up his shop & gave me this Raid wheel. Itd been hanging from a nail on the ceiling rafters for many years. After soaking in Leatherique for a couple of days and getting a new hub, Ill put this on the track honey as a tribute to my buddy.

POST 2Original post

I had a Momo wheel that looked just like that (without the patina) on my 83 944. It made for a great steering wheel on the track. It was a bit more difficult to get into parking spots with manual steering due to the smaller diameter. It was way better than the original 4 spoke wheel that came with the car, which was so wide it would hit my leg when turning sharp corners.

I wanted a throw-back look to the interior plus the smaller diameter for responsiveness & space.
