Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

25 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Title says it all, found this image in the front of the 1999 owners manual and felt it deserved to live a little larger. Like the rest of us Also looking to see if anyone else has interest in these? I would get a better scan and possibly something extra! Let me know if there is another forum this belongs too. The original booklet image is in the upper left corner. The poster is printed high gloss 36x20. I hope you all enjoy!

POST 2Original post

You can get that image on a Factory poster 30x40, I'm not at home but have one framed.

Link it please! It was also less than 1/4 price of a normal 36x24 with the printer access I have; so making one was the best option and may be for others! Edit: Found one for 996.2 for sale, not 996.1 so far.

POST 6Original post

You've got an order here if you decide to print.

POST 9Original post

I'm interested. Any 996.1 convertible cut away pics out there?

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

@SSDVC Sadly after giving the book another once over; only a small greyscale diagram for the 996.1 Cab in my book. It cuts off around the tail lights and just after the door handle.

POST 11Original post

After some reverse-google-image searching I found this. It is pretty high resolution. @mmcd99 if Rennlist downscaled the image PM me and I can dropbox you the original. It should be 2048x1536 @72.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Amazing, thank you so much for find that @Dr_Strangelove . If @SSDVC is okay with the 996.2 and with the airbags pictured then it will be made available!

POST 13Original post

Id be interested in the .2 cab poster. Where did you find it on the ilnterweb?

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

@az968gpw right-click, "search web for image" on chrome browser.

POST 15Original post

Looks nice! Id probably be in for one of the 996.1 coupe posters if theyre reasonably priced... any idea of a ballpark #?

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

@dporto I am not happy with the iPhone adobe photo scan and resolution currently. I am getting a high quality scan and then going to pay an editor a small fee to recomposite the image to not have any artifacts when blown up. And I would only sell if the product lived up to my standards. Would people here rather pay a higher price with free shipping across the board? OR A little lower and risk whatever your shipping from the south is... in the 30-40 dollar range? If you have expressed interest, I will be working on a better version with order forms opening hopefully the week of Thanksgiving. Everyone have a good weekend enjoying their cars!

POST 17Original post

I'm definitely in for a 996 coupe print. I don't mind paying exact shipping to the Northeast US.

POST 18Original post

Im in the NE as well and $30-$40 sounds like a great price range! Hopefully the hi def scan meets your standards Happy Holidaze!

MMCD99, that looks really good to me. Let me know if you're going to make them. I'll check with my son tomorrow and see if he wants one of the coupe ones. Thank you.

Thank you @Dranon , those will be my fall back! I would like to see the contrast higher similar to the test run.

At the end of the day, I don't plan on making profit from the posters. Just a passion project that I know others would enjoy; so maybe it will be free with an encouraged donation Thank you all for the support, knowledge, and additional resources. Keep on driving!
