Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anybody else discovered this? Basically the durametric flashes red and green alternately when I select either abs or a/c. However it talks fine (solid green led) on the engine. I know from studying the wiring diagrams that the engine and alarm operate on different bus to the other modules. Pin 3 on the obd diagnostic connector is for the abs and a/c bus. Durametric suggested that the bus was shorted to ground or power. On inspection I found no short to ground and 2.5v on the bus. This is a normal voltage for CAN bus systems. Any help appreciated. Car is 1998 C2. Steve
