I've got a 99 Carrera 2 with an aerokit and I'm wondering if it's reasonable to consider putting the mk2 headlights on it. I like the look of my front bumper and would prefer for it to stay similar if possible.

Yes, it is possible. At minimum, I think you would need the Mk2 lights and the front bumper cover.

I see no reason to update the headlights. Embrace the 996.1 headlights. (This coming from a 996.2 owner)

I mean, I think it's reasonable to have the option to switch back and forth if you can't own both a .1 and .2 at the same time...

Yeah, I was just saying the 996.1 is definitely not inferior to the 996.2, just different. I wouldn�t mind picking up a 996.1 if I find a great deal.

You would need to purchase the Mk2 Aero front bumper, so it sounds like this is a no-go for you.
