Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Or is it just currently a poll for when people think a mid-life crisis begins? :-D

POST 11Original post

This one breaks out 50s, 60s, and 70s...OMG..

POST 12Original post

What percentage of 996 owners do you suppose even know the Rennlist 996 forum exists, let alone visit it regularly?

That is a very good question , one I've thought about before. Very small percentage I would imagine

POST 14Original post

Then how will they ever learn to be afraid of their IMSB failing???

...And I suspect that the is an average age difference between this forum and other forums.

POST 16Original post

So I am in the top age bracket. Way way way over 55 years. I could never afford a Porsche before the 996 came within my price bracket.

POST 17Original post

Hurdi, didn't we establish at one point that you were the most senior member here? That makes you part of the rennlist extended bell curve...just joking you certainly don't act your age, young at heart.

POST 18Original post

996 North.... yeh I hold two records and possibly three. The oldest 996 owner on Rennlist. The oldest DIY guy on Rennlist and the oldest 'first time' owner of a Porsche on Rennlist. A few more could be added. The most out spoken, irritating, fart, insulting, etc... and the list goes on hahaha. I will be 73 in October and proud to say that I just accomplished a DIY project on the water pump and thermostat. I am a bit mouthy with the odd poster but it's all tongue in cheek really.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
