Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Would love some insight and experience from people on this one. In comparing 2 separate C4S consider all else near identical, would you choose: 86k miles with spotty maintenance records or 121k miles with strong records, confirmed upgraded IMS, (case split upgrade), and full suspension refresh less than 10k miles ago. Same colors, same specs, and almost the same price. Ready. Go! Cheers and thanks for any advice.

POST 2Original post

What IMS installed? I’d lean toward more miles, better maintenance. My C4S has almost 85K miles. Many parts, fasteners still look brand new. My 3 Series BMW HAS 107K and drives near new. I’d be more interested in bore inspection than total miles. Just my $0.02 worth.
