Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

03 C2 with Tip, I'm pretty sure the Heat Exchanger is leaking (#18 on diagram). Is all I need is the two o-rings, #19 and #20? Seems like mine looked more complicated than just two bolts. Am I missing something? How hard will this be? Link to Parts Breakdown

POST 2Original post

Four bolts and four o rings, two of each size for the o rings.

the two bolts look easy to get to, what kind of magic do I need to get to the other two? And also do I need to drain the oil before I go pulling that thing?

POST 4Original post

Remove the intake to get to the other 2 bolts. No need to drain the oil.

I was afraid of that! So that would be the passenger side intake? Anything special about taking that side off? Tools?

POST 6Original post

Nope it was pretty easy (well easier) on my 3.4l because the aos is not in the way.

POST 7Original post

When I removed my intake, this was my best friend... Small ratchet with wobble extension. You may have e-torx or allen bolts.
