Hi all, Considering potentially letting go of my 996.1 Aerokit wing (painted in SY), potentially the car (also SY) to go with it as well. Can't even find one OEM taco wing for sale across the whole internet to find a comparable price. Any guesses?

Over $7,400 and you still have to paint it... https://www.sunsetporscheparts.com/o...id-99651290100
Hmmm.. That'$ $ome good new$$$$ for me!
A respray would likely be needed by any buyer, even of a like-colored car. Between aging and other differences, a full stripping and repaint/reclear would be necessary to match a buyer's current paint (again, even if signal yellow). Thats about $1500-2000, in my experience.
I just bought one for $3300. Good usable condition. I don't have a car for it but eventually I'll find a car. Bought a set of Hollow Turbo wheels also for my future 99
For a bit more I'm selling my wing, but it has a full car attached.
Are you sure thats a factory aero kit spoiler? Is not design to work with the clamshell on cabriolets. Thats why they made the Carrera spoiler.

Well spotted. You are correct - the engine lid must be unlatched before operating the convertible top - takes about 5 minutes per up/down. A quirk from the original owner - i'm #3. I have an original engine lid (w/o wing) but both previous owners said they didn't bother changing it because they liked the look and didn't mind the trouble - so far I agree.
I just sold an aerokit 2 wing for $3500 if that helps?

Yes you did and it was great meeting you and your collection. Thanks again.
$2500-3500 if it's in good condition. Higher end of that range if including hinges, latch, fan, wiring, etc. This one's been listed on ebay for months. But sometime you just need the right buyer at the right time: https://www.ebay.com/itm/38420851302...53.m1438.l2649

Check out the Post your daily photos thread I started. You will see the 996.2 wing went immediately onto my brothers 996.2. Amazing wing the 996.2 The one piece base is a site to behold. The Taco wing I bought I have no car to install it on. Its a piece of art so I like having it on the shelf to look at for now.
