Saw a car that doesn't have the Bose logo on the front speakers but yet has the Bose High End sound (Option 680) listed in the VIN description. Is this a mismatch or do some not have the Bose logo?

What year is the car? 680 could mean the Nokia unit or Bose. If I am not mistaken, Bose was only offered on the .2 models. 680 MY1998-2001 DSP Digital Sound Processing, MY 2002-2005 Bose sound system (analog) Other theories, the logo fell off. You can purchase new ones from Suncoast. Or, the door cards were replaced at some point.

I can vouch for the theory the bose logos may have fallen off the speakers. This happened in my 2004 C4S on both the passenger and driver sides. It�s easy to brush your foot against the speaker when getting in and out and poof! @dwdm, thanks for the tip about suncoast!

I agree with others. The emblems fell off. I would check the frunk area and see if the amplifier has the Bose logo on it.
