Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Factory five spoke. Cannot be repaired. I popped off the center cap and the valve stem cover (has the P logo on it). There's no sensor in it or anything else that can be salvaged is there? Too big for a paperweight. Guess I could put it on its side and use it for a jack stand. Too low for a table base. No interest in hanging it on the wall. I guess I could have the destroyed tire removed and recycle it. It's just aluminum right? Any other reason not to toss it?

POST 2Original post

If it has stock paint on it, you can use it to color match the other wheels if you need to refinish them.

POST 3Original post

I'm sure your neighborhood gas station will take it off your hands for nothing. They like to attach them to the restroom key for their customers.

POST 8Original post

Sorry, you did mention it was a five spoke wheel, is this it?
