Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can't wait to try the car on the highway with a more planted feel!

POST 2Original post

Sounds great but you need to get it on some twisty roads or the race track.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No racetrack for me - don't need what happened to your '01 996!

POST 4Original post

If it wasn't for racetracks and autox, we'd all be driving boring Prius'!

POST 5Original post

Green witheEnvy over here. The RoW M030 is at the top of my most wanted mod list.

POST 7Original post

You'll love it. I had it installed on my street 996 AE and the stance looks great and it's good even on NJ roads..

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Picked up the car last night, and all I can say is WOW!! I can't believe how shot my stock suspension was, or how much better the ROW M030 feels - or both. Acceleration is improved thanks to the car staying planted instead of floating around. Shifting also feels better, not sure why? The car now feels like it's on rails - no more vague floaty highway feel, just solid performance - an amazing improvement. I'm seriously depressed that I didn't get this done when I bought the car - I could have been enjoying it so much more!

POST 11Original post

Good deal. Getting a crisp suspension in these cars are one of the biggest performance upgrades you can do. Just think what the X74 would feel like

POST 12Original post

ROW upgrade should be mandatory at the minimum when buyers buy a used 996. This coupled to engine mounts should be the first things they do IMO. People driving around on worn/tired suspension and engine mounts aren't truly getting the Porsche experience IMO.

I agree, I did motor mounts, but even with 27k low miles, the stock suspension becomes useless with age!
