I was attempting to close my sunroof tonight and it stopped halfway and then would partially open back up. I gave it a few more tries and it would get closer to closing, but would never fully do it. Then, this happened... 13CBDA41-5B9E-4264-BE76-B6ACB34E7E4E_zpspwy3c0cd.jpg The interior cover came off and wedged itself in there. I was finally able to get it closed all the way so I could raise the sunroof up and pull the cover out of the back, but the fabric got ruined in the process. I can't tell for sure, but it seems that maybe the fabric got wedged in the track somehow which then pulled on the whole cover and yanked it off the little metal posts it mounts too. Anyone seen this before? Is there a place I can order replacement fabric that will match the exiting headliner? Or any aftermarket options?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Haven't ever seen the fabric get jammed up and ruined, but yes, the sunroof does commonly and randomly get Alzheimer's syndrome.
