Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This may seem like a stupid question but all my old Porsches had two positions to fix the seat. I always moved the seats to the rearmost position since I am 6'3". I looked at a '04 996 Turbo locally since I am negotiating on one out of state because I missed the C4S in Omaha and for an extra $7k I can get into a Turbo. Anyway, when I looked at the seat mounts in the '04 it looked like where they are at is it no moving the mounting brackets and it was a bit tight for me. The car I sat in was at Dean Team VW in Kirkwood MO if you want to se if you are interested in the car.
