Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm working or repairing a '99 engine and although the IMS bearing feels and looks good, I wouldn't mind replacing it. Did a search for the last couple weeks and all I can find is LN beating. Is the factory one available?

POST 3Original post

Pelican offers a "factory" replacement. http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarti...ft_Bearing.htm Casper Labs offers one see this informative thread on Renntech http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic...%20%20bearings

996-105-015-63 Intermediate shaft. But to change this, you need to tear down the whole engine

POST 7Original post

not worth the effort of a complete tear down... Unless you are looking to do a few mods.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The heads are off but thats as far is it will be torn down. Have thread on the teardown on the Canada forum.

POST 9Original post

Saw it today, great thread and very good pics. Nice to see you have the talent to do it in your garage.

POST 10Original post

Get the LN. I also got it installed in my car.
