I had a pro photographer do a photo shoot, here they are! One of the stipulations was that I have to give credit to him whenever I post, his name is Daniel Grove Photography, https://www.facebook.com/search/top?...%20photography . He lives near San Antonio Tx if you want to book him. I'm his first car shoot, he specializes in Weddings and specialized sci-fi photo shopping of photos. Photo taken at old Kelly AFB, next to the "pink bldg". If you repost these pics anywhere, please include the link to Daniel Grove Photography. Keep in mind these have been modified and are a bit "artsy". It's Daniel's signature work!

cool B-58. is that an F-102 or 106? I can never tell the difference. car looks really good as well!

thanks! It's an F 102.
Beautiful car!
Hell yes! Pics came out great my friend!
Where did you find the male model to enhance the 996? Great pics!
Great pics. Need to give some love to my paint so it looks like that. I believe that to be a F106, two seater F102 were side by side seating.

Hm, interesting. I'll take your word for it! I just googled the pic. There wasn't a plaque so I'm not sure what it is.

The F-102 had a pointed vertical stab and cheek inlets forward of the pilot. The F-106 had a flat-topped vertical stab and cheek inlets just forward of the wing leading edge. When I was a Naval Aviator, I did dis-similar ACM (Air Combat Maneuvering) against both types and they could turn pretty well especially at higher altitudes because of the large delta wing (low wing loading) However, like all delta wings they bleed speed rather quickly at high angles of attack, but what is worse is that they didn't carry any effective weapons so they really didn't pose a threat against a true fighter aircraft. They never won a single fight against us but the Interceptor Pilots were so good at playing Foosball at the O-Club that I think they went undefeated, humiliating our Squadron Fighter Pilots who tended to concentrating on flying and drinking. At Foosball, the Air Force National Guard Pilots were hard to beat. The 102 saw limited combat service in Viet Nam as a bomber escort but did not record a single kill. One aircraft fired a single Aim-4 missile, but it missed as did nearly every Aim-4 ever fired either in combat or in practice. However, one 102 was shot down by a MIG, giving it a pretty poor kill ratio in combat. The 106 never saw combat at all; however, the poorly designed ejection system managed to kill the first 12 pilots who ejected from the F-106. To my knowledge neither variant ever shot down (or even engaged) a hostile bomber which was the mission they were designed for.
I feel like you're taking this car to prom Great pics!
Nice photo session, great pictures.

Wow, very interesting by line. OP, photos look great. I don't think I will ever look that good with my car.
Fantastic location and you look like one happy owner! You should definitely get your favorite printed and put on the wall. It's what I've done. Not meant as a dig at your friend all, however, while I find the framing overall great, the photos do seem a bit over processed and too HDR-ish. Perhaps that's the look he was going for? Shooting cars well ain't easy

I agree, a little to HDR'ish. He's fantastic at people/weddings/etc, I was his first car shoot. And according to my photographer son, I picked THE worst day and spot to take the pics, and the dark color of the car was also a factor. But overall I'm very happy with them!
No worries! Didn't want to be a negative Nancy but your son is kind of right Having done weddings and portraits I know it definitely takes a particular skill to make people look good and takes time to develop. Similar for cars although you don't to tell them to stop doing the artificial smile!
Cool pictures. Personally I would take car photos with a different background. Too much focus on the plane when the focus should be on the car.
That last pic is great.

Well, I'm kinda drawn to the B-58, this is my Air Force tech school graduation pic at Chanute AFB, IL in Sept 77. I'm the one to the left of the lady in the middle.
