Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking into this package for my 996.1 C4. Fabspeed X pipe cat is the only exhaust or intake upgrade I've done so far. I'm at high altitude so interested in HP and Torque increases if I can get it. Thoughts on this vs. other intake or exhaust upgrades?

POST 3Original post

Not worth the money. Plus, tuning is very important when it comes to power gains. There isn't a butt dyno on its planet that can measure any power increases on the M96 from a traditional bolt-on. Shockingly, butt dynos are pretty unreliable.

The butt dyno feels what it wants to feel. It can detect gains that the Mustang dyno can’t. The stock TB should flow plenty of air for a stock engine. But at high altitude, a larger one might help. I don’t really know since I’m at 35’ above sea level. I’m sticking with stock.

A split second before the test, his butt dyno had been calibrated by top members of the state and federal Departments of Weights and Measures, to be dead-on ***** accurate.

Higher altitude has less oxygen and the improvements will be even less noticeable than at sea level. As for the power band getting shifted higher in the rpms, that means you lost power where it is most used. Not really something you want in a street driven car. I love Vinnie too!

Reminds me of Sim City 3000 you could enter the cheat code "Call Cousin Vinny" for a cash injection for your city! Hahaha
