I have a 2001 996.1 C2 manual. My friend gave me a pair of his 2003 996 TT front calipers. Id love to be able to use them. I searched but there are many different brake mods people have done to these cars, calipers/spacers/etc. But for those that have gone to TT front calipers, what what did you use to do it? Also, what 350mm rotors did you go with? My goal is to go 350s front and rear. The 996TT caliper in the front and my stock rear calipers (I already have the spacer for that). Also looking for what rotors I will need in the rear. I will also be going with a GT3 master and more aggressive pads. Thank you for the help.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It’s 330mm f&r
Are you planning on tracking the car?
To fit 996TT calipers to a 996 C2 you will need the uprights from the 996TT as the caliper bolt spacing is different (130mm on the C2 vs 142mm on the 996TT). For the rear, the disc thickness is several mm thinner on the C2 disc than it is on the 350mm x 28mm disc that you want to use. This means that you'll need to grind back the guide pins in the caliper, shave the pads, and also put up with the caliper not being centred on the disc (for reasons that are tricky to articulate but obvious once you apply some thought). The simplest way to overcome the problem on the rears is to fit 996T rear calipers with spacers. They bolt right on.
