Saw this on Top Gear last night. Wow! My wife turned to me and said "I want one." Well, that may have to wait a bit...but what an amazing "Love Letter" to Porsche 911 design. http://singervehicledesign.com/

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

singer has been around for a few years...beautiful autos non the less.
Crawl out of that rock once in awhile.
Isn't that TG episode like 3 years old now? A friend of a friend has one and it's supposed to be a fantastic vehicle. For the price though there is a long list of other cars I'd be looking at first (like the Eagle ). Just doesn't do it for me.
I saw this in a Jay Leno special where they went very the entire car. Here is the link: Curious: How much are these?

I might be wrong but I think about $450K.
Ha! So many options at a quarter of that.
Depends on how you look at it. Custom coachwork doesn't come cheap. This is how Pagani would build a 911.
Like the old Sayin' I Guess the Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder!
Beautiful cars.
Agreed. Singer makes very beautiful 911s!
Maybe when i hit the lottery. No doubt its a beautiful looking car but at 450k there are so many other options that will buy you different color for each week of the month

You're buying basically something that looks like nothing to the naked eye. If you look at some videos, I think one can appreciate all the custom and new parts that goes into this. Small volume and custom is always going to cost. This car is going to be for those that already have other great cars in their stable. I can't see anyone except the most diehard air cooled Porsche nut having this as their first and only sports car IMO. However, I can see poser air cooled guys sporting a replica Singer badge.
I'd for sure have a Singer if I had that kind of disposable cash. It's a well sorted, reliable, hand crafted work of mechanical art. Nothing wrong with that. I'm the type person who appreciates and understands what kind of research and execution is involved in pulling something like that off at that level. I know folks like Bruce Canepa, Magnus Walker and some others do have the skills to build well done Porsches in the outlaw spirit, and I like and appreciate their efforts. Without any disrespect to any of those builders/restorers, those machines are not executed at the same level as the Singers. For now, I have assembled a collection of all sorts of fun cars old and new, for about the same investment. I can enjoy a lot of variety, depending on what kind of day I'm having, lol. But a Singer is still tempting!

Or maybe a HUGE Catherine Wheel fan....

It's funny, I was a big Catherine Wheel fan in my college-age days. Now, 20 years later, I'm a fan of his work again. Had no idea he was the same guy until I saw an interview he did somewhere and mentioned it.
