I have a 03 C2 manual with 52,000 miles I recently took my car from 6 months in storage. It never leaked any fluids before. It lost approximately 4 fl ounces. It appears to be a leak from the area where transmission meets engine. IMS and RMS were done about 2500 miles ago. Dealer recommended I drive it 100 miles or so and see if the leak goes away. It hasn't left any oil on the floor since. I have driven it 4 - 5 times since letting it get fully warmed up. Should I take it in for dealer to look at? Service manager is telling me it is not uncommon for the RMS to leak when sitting for a long time. It looked like alot of oil on the plastic tarp I had it parked on. Previous owner told me it never noticed any leaks when he took it out of storage. Thanks Tom

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Service manager is right. Seals shrink a bit in storage. They swell again when you begin driving it. I would just monitor it...and drive it often.
Yep, have had mine for 19 years and every time I have taken it out of winter storage, there is a puddle. As was previously mentioned, just exercise the car a bit, and the dripping should eventually slow down. I think you mentioned that you had the RMS and IMS recently replaced, which is a big part of the battle. Make sure you have replaced the aos, water pump, fuel injectors, spark plugs and ignition coils recently as well. All can create a problem or two. Then drive the he'll out of it and enjoy.
