Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi everyone- While driving my 99 C2 today, all of sudden the pedal went spongy soft. No issue with gears grinding or engagement, there is some spring squeak at the pedal, and the car has 97k. Would this be master cylinder, slave cylinder, pedal accumulator, or ????! Thanks, Paul

POST 2 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

And there is no fluid loss in the master cylinder.

POST 3Original post

Mine did that a couple of years ago. '99 with about 100K at that time. Master cylinder had a small seep, so replaced. Within a week, the clutch started slipping on acceleration. Has your clutch been replaced? If not, get ready!
