Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The tabs on the sides of the hazard swithc broke as I tried to remove it. Slipped 2 small screwdrivers on each side to press in to remove but the whole switch just broke apart! This is whats left. The old plastic parts are just not very flexible anymore. $57 plus shipping and tax for this little switch!

Thanks that is where I ended up getting it!!

POST 4Original post

Thanks for the warning Dranon, Actually, I tried to remove mine yesterday but it was stuck real hard in there so I gave up for now... I guess it's never been removed before so the plastic is stiff and brittle; so I better leave it alone, if not I will probably break it too or damage the leather dash in the R&R process, lol. Cheers,

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They are VERY hard to remove! Why were you trying to get yours off?

Sorry for late reply, few years back, I installed the remote spoiler switch in the left side of the climate-control and it came with the wiring harness to connect to the speedo sensor so that it can monitor the witch-led light to track the spoiler Up or Down position. Since I could not remove that hazard switch, I have not yet installed this wiring harness, no big deal... Cheers,

I did the same and just bought one off eBay. They're around $20-ish dollars on there.
