Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What is the value of a g96.30 6 speed transmission with a good case. I have one that I got but it was with some other parts. Not sure if it has issues and would think of it as a rebuildable core.

POST 2Original post

I bought one that came out of a spec 996. He blew the engine at Sebring and found a used engine/transmission so he kept the spare transmission. Paid $1200 and its in my car now. Vertex charges $2000 for a core.

POST 3Original post

I sold my 200k mile good shifing trans from my 2000 for about $1200.
