Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

i believe you have 2 gal left when the light first comes on but others will correct me if i'm incorrect
^^ I think that is right. So for my city mileage I would figure about 28-30 miles to empty and dead. Highway mileage I would figure about 40 miles to empty and dead. And remember, the fuel in the tank cools the fuel pump. Running it low might cause your fuel pump to burn up, or at least shorten its life. I usually don't let mine (fuel level) go below 1/4 left.
Never a good idea to let it get that low in any car.

I wasnt sure if that first line in the red is considered empty or if its the section below it?

I'm glad someone posted this!
Lol on the Seinfeld clip. I was in a pinch. I hardly ever let it go below 1/4.
