Hello! I'm wondering how many people here are from Vancouver Island, BC. The track in Duncan is offering a day of open lapping on June 27th for $429. https://islandmotorsportcircuit.com/.../open-lapping/ This seems like a great deal to me and I don't think they even offered open lapping prior to the lockdown. I've booked my spot, who else is interested?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Thanks , I live in Duncan hadnt heard about that
Some pictures from the open lapping at the Vancouver Island Motorsports Circuit. It was a great day and a very challenging and technical track. I was driving my 2003 C2, Matt from these forums was there in his Turbo. New suspension and roll bars felt good and I got smoother and faster as the day went on. I learned a lot about the car too ... brake fluid seemed overheated towards the end of the day so I think I need to start by flushing the brake fluid and re-evaluating then. I also found out that I have summer tires at the rear and all seasons at the front. I was getting a bit of understeer when taking on some corners a bit too aggressively which might be related but probably more down to my driving skills. On this track with my car, brakes and tires seemed to be more important than out and out speed / power. I don't think I ever took it out of 3rd gear and spent most of my time in 2nd. Stripes shaved 9/10's of a second off my lap times Suspension was nice and stiff ... not a lot of roll Brakes worked the hardest ... lots of brake pad dust on these front rims My C2 and Matt's Turbo coming up fast from behind
Thanks for sharing the pictures and information on your track day. Looked like lots of fun. I will have to make a trip from Penticton to Duncan and give it a try.
It's a very fun, twisty track. Here are my pics:
