Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 03 996 C2 Cab seat leather is worn out. I am trying to find the best company to buy new upholstery from and have it installed by my local shop, any suggestions and pricing range would be appreciated!

POST 2Original post

Heres a thread I posted in March with my impressions and cost of GAHH covers. Im really pleased and have no reservations recommending them. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...pressions.html

POST 3Original post

Classic9 seems to do some nice work. They would be my first stop if I was wanting as close a match as possible to factory leather. No experience with them myself yet.

Does your local shop not have the ability to make the covers ? When buying from a company and then bringing to another company to install what happens if you are not happy with the results ? The installer will blame the covers . The cover manufacturer blames the installer . Now what ? Of course everything could work out perfectly and all is good . How much risk you willing to take ?

https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...-interior.html Brian did mine……he may be willing to ship just the covers since he now has a pattern for a 996.
